The mission of Concord Youth Hockey Association is to provide a competitive and enjoyable opportunity to play hockey for children ages 4 to 18.
The Concord Youth Hockey Association gives each interested hockey player a chance to compete at a number of levels with different amounts of commitment and competitiveness, with teams competing at the A, AA, AAA, and Elite level.
Most hockey professionals encourage children to become involved in more than one sport throughout their adolescence to develop more than just one muscle group. With the travel season being so long, Concord Youth Hockey Association supports players being involved in other fall sports such as soccer, field hockey, cross country/track, and football, etc.
"Our philosophy is to promote growth and development of youth players in a fun, fair, and safe environment maximizing player participation and skill development at all levels while also developing sportsmanship, teamwork, and self-confidence. We believe participation in organized youth hockey should lead to the building of personal self-esteem, self-discipline, social skills, and respect for others. As such, we are committed to evaluating our programs, on an ongoing basis, ensuring that we serve our memberships' needs, developing our players at all skill levels, and providing a positive experience for our youth."
For over 55 years, Concord Youth Hockey has been introducing kids of all ages to the sport of hockey.
We have teams for all ages and abilities, from our "Learn to Skate" program, catered to kids as young as 3 years old who have never skated before, to our Midget and Girls U19 program, for players who are up to their Senior year in High School.
We have over 13 travel teams, with more than 200 players ranging from Mite - Bantams, including teams specifically for Girls.
